Do not compare totals from linear metres or a rendering alone. Quotes become comparable only when scope, materials, quantities, responsibilities and trade terms match.
Product scope
- Cabinet count, dimensions, corners, tall units, islands, special forms and equipment interfaces;
- Where stainless steel is used, plus grade, thickness, finish and construction complexity.
Configuration scope
- Doors and finishes;
- Worktops, sinks and tap interfaces;
- Hinges, drawers, baskets, lifting hardware and lighting;
- Samples, shop drawings and special packing.
Project scope
- Measurement, final survey, factory inspection, freight, insurance, customs, delivery, installation and commissioning;
- Quote currency, taxes, Incoterms, payment gates and validity.
